New Year, New Name, Same Vibes

Date: January 12, 2026
Focus or Theme: Gathering, Not Grinding

Welcome to the first Fellowship Hall of 2026 — a space to gather without performance, to show up with presence, and to reconnect with one another in a restful space before the doing begins. This year isn’t about pushing harder; it’s about beginning well together.

We spent the start of this fellowship, this ministry, exploring righteousness — as a principle, a structure, a standard, and a practice. Now, we turn inward once more to ask: what does righteous living look like for each of us? Righteousness isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence.

Society pressures us to move fast and creates a false sense of urgency. Deadlines and tasks fill calendars so completely that we forget the essential work of returning home to ourselves and to each other. This week is a different kind of gathering — not productivity masquerading as community, but presence inviting growth. This is an invitation to take up space, to breathe, to sit with where you are as you are.

💭 This Week’s Guiding Question

Where in my life is presence more important than performance right now?

What We’re Discussing

This week we’re exploring three concepts that will guide us through January and the rest of 2026:

  1. Practice presence — the habit of being in the now matters more than any task you check off.

  2. Connection fuels clarity — we grow best not in isolation, but in communion with others.

  3. Invitation over intensity — what/who welcomes you to embrace your full self will be gentle.

It’s Just One Thing…

If you take away nothing else from this moment, this week’s fellowship hall, ask yourself:

“What would it look like to show up for yourself this week with kindness instead of urgency?”

Until next time…
